Proton Driver Physics Study
A design for a new Proton Driver
was completed in December 2000. To be able to go forward with such a project, we
need to document the physics potential that such a machine would have. In order
do so a study group led by Weiren Chou,
Peter Kasper, and
Mayda Velasco has been established by
the directorate with the charge of producing a report before "Snowmass 2001".
The Report
- The Physics Case: Transparencies of a talk
summarizing the results of the study. Versions of the talk were given at a
Director's briefing (May 25) and at the workshop (June 7). It will also be
given to the PAC meeting on June 16.
- Draft
Report: The latest draft of the write-up of this study. (postscript)
- The LaTeX
versions of each section are available here.
